Marjorie has done an excellent job of capturing this Mayan woman. Her clothing depicts the Mayan group in which she belongs. Her face shows that although life may have been difficult at times, she has a certain mischievousness about her and a delightful glint in her eyes, revealing a lively spirit.
The ice cream cone is a luxurious joy to her, for she is of a state in life in which such luxuries don't easily come.
