The aircraft is a Cessna 172, capable of low & slow operations. Operating area easily includes from Billings, MT, west to Cascade Mts of Washington & Oregan
The commercial pilot, Bill Caldwell, is instrument rated and is experienced in flying the mountains of NW Montana and North Idaho.
He also has a BS in Forestry with graduate work in forest entomology, over 30 years experience as a State of Montana forester and 27 years in NW Montana. This includes extensive experience in resource management, slash hazard reduction, road management, and weed management.
Costs Less Than You Might Think
$165.00 per hour; prorated based upon duration of flight
- Hazard Reduction Assessments
- Location of forest blowdown, insect and disease infestations
- Road condition surveys, including road closures and failures
- Broad scale mapping of certain noxious weeds
