This magnificent bull buffalo is letting you know he thinks he's the best. The Beaverhead is the backdrop behind him. This is the rock formation for which the Beaverhead National Forest is named. Can you see the beaver's head in the rock (from mid way to the top forms the shape of a beaver's head just coming out of the water he's swimming in).

southwestern Montana boasts abundant wildlife and some of the finest western
landscapes.
